In spite of the very short notice, eleven choir members made Newbold Primary School's Big Lunch and Soupa Saturday summer fete.

The weather for once was wonderful and it was great to take part in a typical English village fete complete with Jublilee bunting, strawberries & cream and even Maypole dancing!

As this was our first requested gig with little time to polish our repertoire we decided to keep things simple by singing some of the rounds and two of our better known songs.  Madeleine also performed a beautiful rendition of Scarborough Fair which fitted so aptly to the occassion.

There is video which will be uploaded shortly, but meanwhile here are some photos.
