Mint Sauce At The Ready! Folk On The Farm Writer Launches New Book

Taking a break from the folk arts, Sue Kendrick, one of Folk On The Farm’s main writers has put her knowledge of sheep farming to good use in a new book.

Lambs For The FreezerLambs For The Freezer is due to be published by Crowood Press early June. 

It is a comprehensive account of breeding, rearing and managing home produced lamb. 

Aimed at the beginner sheep keeper, chapters cover breed selection, feeding, lambing and health plus rules, regulations, preparing for the final journey and a selection of mouth watering recipes.

Plans are afoot to hold a launch party combined with the Melodeon workshop running on the 4th June, but if you can’t wait to get your hands on a copy, you can pre-order direct from the publishers!
