Our fifth walk begins and ends at Sense Valley Country Park.
When: Monday, 3rd July, 2017
Meet: 1 pm at the Noon Column (SK403.113) to sing as the sun pours through the slit! Prompt departure at 1.15 pm
Parking: In the top car park (adjacent to the road) at Sence Valley Country Park which is on the right-hand side of the A447, (travelling from Ravenstone), opposite a new estate, on the outskirts of Ibstock.

Walk: This 5.5 mile walk has 8 stiles to cope with. It leaves Sence Valley in the direction of Ravenstone, passing through rape fields and areas of new plantation on the way. The return journey is through Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Wood (although it doesn’t look much like a wood yet!), and back along a broad track leading into Sence Valley itself.
Refreshments: Tea Room at Sunnyside Nursery, Ibstock (LE67 6HL)
