You can’t beat a face lift to cheer up the winter gloom and the Folk On The Farm website is no exception! Smartly sporting its new orange and green livery the site has been extend beyond a simple brochure site and now offers some exciting opportunities for the rest of the folk arts fraternity.
The major change is a news section which will feature any folk art press releases on the site’s home page. This is a free service which anyone involved with the folk arts, be it music, drama, dance, storytelling or visuals can use to promote their event through a short press release.
Photos can be added and there is no limit to the number of news items you can add. You can also delete items once they become irrelevant.
As well as the News section, there is also an Events calendar which again is free for folk arts listings. The events calendar includes live links to the user’s own site and or a ticket booking address.
To use either of the services all that is need is a Folk On The Farm account which is free.
