Calling Time, aka Julie and Amanda will be heading up a lovely folky evening featuring a whole range of songs from the tradition or from Julie's own set of self penned ballads which often portray the plight of jilted lovers, murderous highwaymen, drowned sailors and many other purveyors of the unsavoury aspects of the human condition so you are assured of a jolly evening!
If you have a tale to tell yourself, either musically, poetically or by 'telling' we would love to hear it during the open mic session.
Tales and Ales takes place at Newbold, Coleorton and is limited to 30 due to Covid restrictions.
