WINTER SOLSTICE WALK!

Ho! Ho! Ho!  It is almost that time of year again which means our annual Solstice Walk will once again take place on the shortest day in an effort to postpone the apocalyptic effect of the sun dropping off the edge of the world!

If you would like to join our jolly company and help kick off the Christmas season we’d love to have you!

Here’s how the day will pan out:

Sunset is 15.54 we will take an hour long walk of about a 3 miles to a local high spot and hopefully not watch the end of the world!

Remember it will be quite dark when we return so best bring a torch.  You will also need good boots or shoes.

There is plenty of parking at Kendrick’s courtesy of our drive and a convenient lay-by across the road or even our farmyard if necessary.

NB:  If you want to join us just for the meal and or the sunset let us know!  We can give you alternative directions to the viewing point which only entails a half mile walk and is suitable for baby buggies!
