A Very English Story For A Wintry Night

inbetweencoverDraw the curtains, stoke up the fire, pour yourself a glass of something warm and fruity and take the phone off the hook!  The Inbetween is a story written for wintry nights when snow pats against the window glass and flames roar in the chimney!
Set in the dim and distant past when the Long Mynd and the Stipperstones were wild, outlandish places, home equally to dispossessed knights falling foul of the conqueror and the fey creatures of the dark world of faery the Inbetween tells the story of “Wild Eadric,” a shadowy, but historically documented character who lived during the reign of William the Conqueror.
But don’t think this is about blood, guts and warfare!  There is another side to Eadric which concerns the strange tale of a curse and a faery bride!  Told through the eyes of his mother who has the gift of the third eye, the action takes place during the winter solstice when the dark days of Yule slowly begin to lengthen as the returning sun forces back the darkness.  As one gives way to the other, the magic and power of the Inbetween grows which brings both joy and sorrow to the Lady Arwyn.
