Only Remembered First World War Tribute Concert

Only Remembered Concert to be held at the Charles Booth Centre, Thringstone.

Roots Community Singers mark the 100 year Armistice of the First World War this November with a unique tribute concert consisting of songs from the folk tradition, story telling and poetry all set to a back drop of evocative images reflecting the times and events of a conflict which left few unscathed and which had such a huge impact on social, industrial and military life.

The concert is supported by the North West Leicestershire Council World War 1 commemorative grant and takes place at the Charles Booth Community Centre, The Green, Thringstone on Friday, 2nd November, 7.30 pm.

Tickets £8.  There is a licensed bar and proceeds will be donated to Help For Heroes.
