After three Summer Sing Out, “taster sessions,” our acappella folk choir launches on a regular basis in the village school at Newbold, Coleorton.

The first practice session takes place on Tuesday, 8th November, 7.00 pm – 9 pm and will consist of a 7 week block leading up to our Solstice party where we will hopefully be sharing what we’ve learnt!

Our choir master is Willow Songsmith who has a lot of experience in leading this type of choir.  In fact, I have personally attended one of Willow’s choirs and several of his workshops and have always had a great time so I’m sure we’re going to be in safe hands!

Willow uses the teaching methods advocated by the Natural Voice Practitioners Association so will be teaching by ear, but also supplying music for anyone who wants it.
