Greetings From My Hedge – Christmas Concert

It’s Christmas … It’s Folk and it’s Greetings From My Hedge … A Wonderful Concert of Seasonal Songs, Music & Stories

Join Roots Community Singers at the Century Theatre, Coalville, on Tuesday, 17th December for a feast of seasonal songs, music and stories celebrating the festive season.

This wonderful evening has all the ingredients of a joyful Christmas treat with all the entertainment drawn from the rural tradition featuring a wide range of folk carols plus some new material steeped in the good old earthy folk tradition.

Led by the choir’s musical Director, Willow Songsmith who has arranged most of the songs in three and four part harmony you will be treated to a lovely range of harmonic voices urging you to celebrate this wonderful time of year in all the ways you know best.

The concert starts at 7.30 pm, but come early ... bring a song, tune, story or poem and join in the pre-concert sing-a-round which takes place in the bar from 6.00 pm - we’re aiming to make this a Christmas highlight!

Proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Loughborough based Falcon Support Services which offers shelter and advice to the homeless.

Tickets are £10 and available from:
