It’s the turning of the year and from now on the days will get steadily longer.  Well that’s not quite true as the winter solstice this year falls on the 22nd December, but I’m otherwise engaged on that date so we’re celebrating a little early!

Newbold Primary School Mobile Annex, School Lane, Newbold, Coleorton, Leics. Wednesday, 21st December, 7.00 – 11.00 pm

Our brand new, Folk On The Farm choir will start the proceedings by demonstrating how well Willow has whipped us into shape during the past few weeks!

We’ll continue with various musicians, poets and singers strutting their stuff so if you want to perform something and haven’t all ready let me know, please do so!

We’ll have a break for a festive fuddle so please bring edible contributions!  I’ll put a list of suggestions out a bit nearer the time.  You will also need to bring your own drinks, soft or otherwise.

No we won’t be dispersing after the eats, but dancing to Calling Time who will be treating us to some good old, folky reels and jigs designed to get us kicking up the sawdust!

Yes!  Just let us know how many!  Children are welcome.

Minimal!  We only have to pay for room hire so I suggest a donation of £2
