Windmill sing and walk

The Folk on the Farm community choir finished off its choir sessions with a walk and sing at local landmark Hough Mill which is located at nearby Swannington.

Members of Swannington Heritage Trust showed us around the Mill and the nearby Gorse Field. Afterwards we sang for the guides, friends and visitors in the newly restored Mill.

Singing over, it was back to their New inn where we enjoyed a lovely supper and spent the rest of the evening singing, telling stories, playing music and recycling poetry.

The choir reconvenes in September in Newbold school.
