Step We Gaily!

photo12The Folk On The Farm barn dance turned out to be one of our most successful events yet with over sixty dancers skipping along to the jolly jigs and reels of the Derbyshire Ranters. photo4

Packington Village Hall was the venue and in spite of the cold and somewhat snowy night, tickets sold right up the start of the dance with several late comers paying on the door.

A superb ploughman’s supper was served during the interval and additional entertainment was provided by ROOTS Community Singers with individual performances coming from John Seditus and Madeleine McCormick. photo2
