Only Remembered A Great Success!

Roots performing at the Charles Booth Centre in the Only Remembered concert

The Only Remembered tribute concert to those who served in the Great War by Roots Community Singers proved a huge success with the Charles Booth centre at Thringstone packed to capacity.

The choir put on an anti-war show paying tribute to the men, women and animals that served and died in the First World War to a back drop of evocative images which played throughout the concert.

The event was supported by North West Leicestershire District Council which helped to fund the concert and the resulting DVD with a grant designed to help local groups commemorate the 100 year Armistice.

Proceeds from the concert will be donated to Help For Heroes.
